Course topics

All the subjects are covert in theory and practise by experienced instructors.
We emphasis the practical aspect of training.

Traits and skills of a personal protection specialist; differences between
government and civil protection details; course rules.

Tactics of terrorists and other perpetrators; terrorist target selection,
intelligence gathering; protective intelligence; setting up threat assessment.

Advance work; reconnaissance and countersurveillance; close protection
with and without vehicles; protection in temporary and permanent installations;
counterattack and behaviour in attack situation; covering and evacuation
of the VIP.

Weapons disarms; kicks; punchs; grips; crowd control, third party defence.

Effects of explosions; components of explosive and incendiary
devices; bomb search and identification (EOD und IED);
handling bomb threats.

Dress code; conversationnel rules, étiquette.

Treatment of wounds and injuries; emergency care, wraps and splints.

Means to collect protected information (technical, human);
means to protect information (technical, human); case studies

Durind a two day exercise the participants will have to applicate all
tought skills. Students are given a realistic scenario. They have to
plan and carry out a protective detail operation and to prevent an
attempt on the life of the protectee.

Training location

The training takes place at a facility near Munich in Germany,
which is ideal  for our training. Practical exercises take also place in cities.

Instruction methods

The theoretical part of the training is carried out with lectures, group discussions and goup-working.
Video documentations, slides, transparencies a variety of case studies of assassinations of the past
will be used. Various protection tactics will be explained with models. In the practical part of the
course you will train, consolidate and extend  what you learned during the lessons. In some sections
of the training participants will have to work out solutions on their own and will than discuss it with
the instructors. With the aid of video analyses we will check your movements in order to dispel mis-
takes you made.

During the training course we will increase the burdens and demands. We will bring you in stress
situations and you will be under a great deal of physical and psychological pressure.

A hit team, whose members are not known to the course participants, will try to commit an
attack on the protectee. The hit team will use surveillance in order to gather information
about the VIP and the protection measures. Based on this information they will try to carry
out the attack, according to methods used by terrorists worldwide.
After the exercise we will hold an extensive debriefing with the course participants. The
members of the hit team and the instructors will discuss with you mistakes and right beha-
viour of the protection detail.

Assessment of participant´s performance

Your performance during the training will be assessed by the instructors from the first day
on. The assessment is based on the instructors judgement and the final exercise.
Only those participants who reach the minimum score will receive certification. One certifi-
cate shows the successful participation, the course topics and qualifications of the instructors
are listed on it.  The other certificate lists the score of each subject you achieved. 
People who need a reference letter from the instructors, will get it without extra costs.The
