good theoretical training is the fundation
for the practical training.

side in relation to the VIP car. .

Quick medical help can safe live. Therefore students learn
the use of medical equipment. .

The instructors explain mistakes the students
did and give advise for correct tactical behaviour.

Without intensive planning a protective assignment
can lead to a catastrophe, even without an attack on the
VIP. Therefore much of the time during the training is
spend on mission planning. Here a student uses a soft-
ware with high resolution satelitte photos which show the
surrounding of a facility to be visited by the VIP. .

The lessons and practical exercises often last
till late into the night. 150 hours of training
in 12 days pushes the students to their limits.

The cars wait with running engines, while the VIP is
approaching.

During the basic course students practise perma-

broadcasting corporation.

Depending on the surrounding and amount of people
at a place visited by the VIP, the close protection
team expands or narrows its protective circles.
